The 30th Congressional District includes a majority of the San Fernando Valley, especially West of the 405 freeway where it includes communities such as Woodland Hills, Tarzana, Reseda, Encino, Hidden Hills, Canoga Park, West Hills, Winnetka, Chatsworth, Lake Balboa and Granada Hills. East of the 405, it runs along a southern strip that includes Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Valley Village, Toluca Lake, Universal City and part of the city of Burbank. The district also includes a small portion of Ventura County around Bell Canyon.
